Who is responsible?

Which data do we use, and why?

• Website visits: this site does not track you for advertising. Cloudflare serves the site and may automatically add Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare makes two statements about this measurement: it collects minimal performance and visit data, and it does not track visitors from site to site. The hosting service also processes technical data from your visit. This is needed for a secure and reliable site. We do not use this data for profiling or advertising.
• Email contact: if you email us, we process your name, email address, organisation and message content. This lets us answer your question and take any follow-up steps.

When responding to a specific request, our legal basis is taking steps at your request or performing an agreement. For general business messages and security, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating and protecting the website.

Visits and contact clicks

We use GoatCounter to count visits to the website. We also count clicks on contact buttons and links to our websites. We store only totals per page or action for this purpose. We do not use cookies or visitor profiles for this measurement. We do not send entered data, email content or query parameters from the address bar. The language comes from the selected web page, not your browser settings. Clicking an email button does not mean a message has been sent.

GoatCounter receives technical data, such as an IP address, when a connection is made. The options for visitor sessions, individual visits, referrers, browser, screen size and location are switched off. The totals have no automatic expiry date. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we skip the measurement. Read more in GoatCounter’s privacy explanation.

Retention and sharing

We keep messages no longer than necessary for the enquiry, agreement and any legally required records. The hosting provider keeps technical data no longer than its configured retention period. We do not sell personal data. Service providers receive only the access needed for hosting or email. They must protect the data appropriately.

If a service requires operational or staff data, we make separate agreements in advance. These cover roles, types of data, subprocessors, retention periods and security. Without those agreements, we do not request such data through this website.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing, where those rights apply to your situation. Email alex@genantis.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes and review

If the site gains forms, different measurements or new data flows, we update this notice first. This is a practical notice for the website. The owner must review the text again following important changes. A legal professional must also review it where necessary.
